Toulouse ... Hold on ... Shadi's back

A year and a half after working in ALstom Transport for the Prima locomotive Team in Tarbes , where I carried out developpment of the embedded software on the controller of the traction . I have decided to move back to work in the Aeronautical sector , in AIRBUS France. why do I change my job ??

first of all ,I did two internship in Airbus Toulouse and I see better my carreer in a Big company then as a subcontractor. Secondly ,I prefer to live in a big city , especially Toulouse where I did my university studies. I have also many friends in Toulouse and night life is nothing to compare to Tarbes.

I'll move back , during december ... still have two months of struggling .

Week End In London

On the week end of 8,9 and10th of june I have spent a memorable week end in London with zeca, a classmate, and his cousin Louis.

Welcome to London:
if you see these cars on the road , so you must be in London

I've been to different tourist attractions in London such as Big Ben, Tower bridge, Buckingham Palace, London eye, Mme tussaud's museum, Millenium Bridge and
piccadilly palace.

Of course I have been also to many pubs and clubs during the night on the main roads of London.

Tower bridge
The first tourist attraction we've been in London is the Tower bridge.
Tower Bridge is a combined bascule and suspension bridge in London over the River Thames. It is close to the Tower of London, which gives it its name. It has become an iconic symbol of London and is sometimes mistakenly called London Bridge, which is the next bridge upstream.
Hereafter you can see zeca, Louis and me in front of the Tower bridge.

BIG BEN
Big Ben is the name given to the main bell hanging in the clock tower of the Palace of Westminster, the home of the Houses of Parliament in the United Kingdom. It is commonly taken to be the name of the clock tower itself, but this is incorrect

Buckingham Palace
Buckingham Palace is the official residence of the British monarch in London. Long Live the Queen.

Louis and me with one guard

London Eye

The London Eye, also known as the Millennium Wheel, is an observation wheel that completed construction in 1999 and opened to the public in March, 2000. As of June 2007, it is the largest observation wheel in the world

piccadilly palace

well known palace for the new year's eve.

St Paul cathedral

Mme tussaud's museum
Madame Tussauds London's one of the most famous tourist attraction . You can see many many of the celebrities made in wax. The entrance costs 25 £(50$). But believe me ,the visit worths the 25 £ .

Julia roberts and me

David Beckham,victoria Beckham and me.

Charlie Chaplin and me

Bush, Blair and me in an UN conference

Einstein and Einstein

Murphy's law

The following is the Original law by Murphy:
-Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
-Nothing is as easy as it looks.
-Everything takes longer than you think.
-If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the one to go wrong.
-If anything simply cannot go wrong, it will anyway.
-If you perceive that there are four possible ways in which a procedure can go wrong, and circumvent these, then a fifth way, unprepared for, will promptly develop.
-Left to themselves, things tend to go from bad to worse.
-If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.
-Nature always sides with the hidden flaw.
-Mother nature is a bitch.
-It is impossible to make anything foolproof because fools are so ingenious.
-Whenever you set out to do something, something else must be done first.
-Every solution breeds new problems.

380 , it doesn't represent the famous Airbus plane

380 , it's not the first true double-deck passenger airliner for the long-range market , the most spacious and efficient airliner ever conceived . but it represents the first salary in my life and in this internship at Airbus Toulouse . well it's not too much . the famous french expression says it all " C'est mieux que rien " .

A tour in Airbus

today afternoon i have visisted with stephan and Brice the aircrafts for tests .
we went on board of the A320 , A340 , we went into their cockpits and test some activities, specially the braking system . we did a round near the A380 , and take a look on the real landing gear system. well they don't have the same steering systems the three families . the A380 is based on a push pull hydraulic system .On the contrary the A320 is based on a rack and pinion ( a pair of gears which convert rotational motion into linear ) . the A320 has 6 wheels . the A340 12 wheels . and the 380 22 wheels .

too good to be real

today morning , i went with Noelle , an employee in the landing gear team, to the laboratory at airbus blagnac in order to simulate 3 functions of the BSCU (braking and steering control unit) . the first 2 functions related to the alternate brake fault . and the third was to display an error message in the cockpit of hot brakes . In the labo there is a cockpit just like in the image in which we can simulate the real function of an aircraft , because it is associated to a reproduced parts of plane on the same scale .

i was too lucky today to take off the aircraft ( in simulation of course) in the labo . i have also simulated the brakes . i have visited the labo and saw the hydraulic system in the rudder , wings and landing gear . it was too good to be real . it's not an internship , it's a dream ....

Internship at airbus Toulouse

2 weeks later after the beginning of my internship , i can just say that Airbus is an ideal place for a trainee work. My subject is to develop a tool on simulink/Matlab in order to simulate the BSCU controller (Braking and steering control unit) incorporated in the A320 family Aircraft to control the landing gear and display error messages in the cockpit screen.

Actually the first three days , i have just read the system description note( SDN) to take a general view of the braking and steering of the landing gear system of the plane . then i have read the SADT( Structured Analysis and Design Technique) which gives functional schematic of the BSCU and his interaction with the system such as Monitoring and controlling brakes pressure , temprature , steering angle , ect ...

the second week i have started the real subject , and have just begun to adapt the tool from another one for the A340 .

far from technique , it's a very interesting opprtunity to take contact with people in the industrial world . i work with a team of 12 likeable person ( insaiens well represented 3/12) working on the landing gear of single aisle aircraft . generally they have a mechanical and automatic background . the average age is 35-40 years old . and i'm the only trainee worker in the team .

to be continued .....

My 4th year project :the S12X microcontroller

this was my 4th year project in INSA in the DGEI department .this project was done with the collaboration of freescale and the Lesia laboratory .it's about developping an application of the new freescale microcontroller S12X in order to put it in the microcontroller book to make easier using this new component for Freescale's client in the future . My project is to communicate two interface Kit( MC33880 and MC 33993 ) through the S12X using SPI module ( Serial peripheral interface). theMC33880 control the LED card . the MC33993 is charged to scrutinize the switch state.

once the program is charged in the S12X microcontroller . the S12x will send a data to the MC 33993 , requesting the switch state . then the MC33993 will send back the switch state data using SPI module . once the data is recieved by S12x . the microcontroller will send it to the MC33880 by another SPI module in order to control the LED board .therfore we can display the results on the LED .

the S12X is based on the HC12 core with the Xgate module . the Xgate is another microprocessor enhanced in the S12x . this parallel processing module offloads the CPU by providing high speed data processing and transfer between peripheral modules, RAM and I/O ports . the S12XD family is designed to deliver 2 to 5 times the performance of a 25 MHz HCS12 .

Greeting cards

greeting cards

it's my 21 years old birthday - finally i have the right to vote

yep it's 00:16 of 9 of March . i have finally 21 years old and i have the right to vote for the lebanese parlement . In Lebanon , it's the professor day . the drawing teacher told that i should do a school director .
Anyway i'll tell u later what will happen in this magic day .
the horoscope for this year :

One of the things that matters most to you is keeping your promises. That will go double in early 2006, as a friend will undoubtedly rely on you for something quite important. You've reassured them for months now that they have nothing to worry about, but as soon as the year begins, you'll have a chance to prove that your word truly is your bond.

At the same time -- and straight through mid-March -- you'll also find that several high-ranking, influential coworkers and authority figures will be looking to you to follow through on your word. They may even need a bit more of a commitment from you. Not to worry though. The heavens will be more than happy to help you keep on task, and you'll be rewarded for your honesty, integrity and hard work in a very big way. Sit tight, do everything exactly as you know you should and prepare to experience a wonderful feeling: well-earned, justified pride in yourself.

Obviously, after all that hard work and discipline, you'll be more than ready to have some serious fun -- and the universe has some of that in mind for you too. You'll have all kinds of chances to do some long-distance traveling this year, and if there's any way at all that you can make a reality of one of those trips, don't pass it up. You've probably been itching either to go home for a visit or to return to a place you've always loved. Do it now, and take your favorite travel buddy along. (Just be sure to carry everything you need right on your person, in case of luggage delays or other annoyances.)

If you feel like a relationship is changing -- and not for the worse, so don't worry -- you could well be 100 percent right. Things between you and a certain someone will deepen considerably by the end of the year, if not before. If you don't already have someone in mind, a family member may introduce you to a potential sweetie -- someone they've been telling you is 'just perfect' for you -- around the end of July. You may have to put up with an I-told-you-so after a few weeks, but if things are going along that well, grin and bear it. It will be well worth it when you take a look around you by New Year's and realize that you've got everything you could possibly wish for!

it seems to be a nice 21 years old .... hope it anyway !!!!
